Crew members are part of a two-person crew that will work outdoors in a fast-paced, physical work environment. Applicants will be required to be out of town for eight day intervals followed by six days off. Construction experience preferred, with a preference given to individuals with verifiable supervisory experience and the driving ability to secure a Class B Commercial Driver's License. R.K. HydroVac, PA, is offering a starting salary of $18.50 per hour for qualified applicants. AUTHORITY The Bloomsburg Municipal Authority (BMA) has the following full-time positions available at its Wastewater Treatment Plant. Positions require the possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to attain one within one year. Positions are part of the Collective Bargaining Unit and are required to work rotating weekends and holidays, as well as working an on-call rotation. MAINTENANCE/
OPERATOR This position will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of all wastewater treatment plant and pumping station mechanical and electrical systems and associated equipment. Previous experience in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations is preferred. OPERATOR This position will be responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled work in the operation, maintenance and control of the wastewater treatment plant and pumping stations. Previous experience in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants is preferred.

AUTHORITY SPECIAL PROJECTS COORDINATOR The Bloomsburg Municipal Authority (BMA) has a full time position available at its Wastewater Treatment Plant for a Special Projects Coordinator (SPC). This position will be responsible for managing the Municipal Industrial Pretreatment Program (MIPP), serving as the Laboratory Supervisor & Quality Assurance Officer (Lab. QA), and coordination of the staff health and safety training. A minimum of a two-year degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) or a B.S. in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology or Civil/Environmental Engineering from an accredited college or university is required. Four or more years working experience in the wastewater management field is preferred.
